Blake is married to Katelyn Bauwens, and together they have two dogs, Crue and Marley. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and going on walks with their dogs. Blake is originally from Cape/Jackson and has spent his entire life there.

He has been with the agency for nearly 4.5 years, marking a milestone of 5 years this coming summer. Blake has never worked anywhere else in insurance, having spent his entire career at Arnold.

Over his time in the industry, Blake has experienced two distinct market phases. The current market, which has lasted for about two years, represents the latter half of his tenure. Initially, rates were competitive, and loss control/recommendations were not as stringent. However, the market has shifted into what many refer to as a “harder” market, which began with the onset of inflation. In this environment, loss control has become more rigorous, and Blake believes that a deeper understanding of the industry is more essential than ever.
