After graduating from DePauw University with a B.A. in Economics, Doug spent two years in New Orleans working for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. Upon moving back to St. Louis, Doug joined St. Charles/Bowersox Insurance as part of their management team.  Doug is currently a Senior Insurance Executive for Arnold Insurance.

Doug has been involved in numerous civic and industry organizations.  After holding many positions within the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA), Doug was named President in 2012.  Currently a Past President of MAIA, Doug is still actively involved in committees and was awarded the prestigious MAIA Insurance Agent of the Year in 2016 and most recently the 2020 MAIA Lifetime Achievement Award.   Doug has also served on the Board of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents.  

With 30 plus years of experience Doug has developed a unique proven process where he designs and builds risk management programs for individuals and growth orientated businesses, so they have the protection they need when they need it.  

Outside the office, Doug supports several charitable organizations, enjoys travel with family and friends, playing golf and continues to play in a competitive men’s baseball league.
